My newborn photoshoots focus on capturing the overwhelming love and emotion you’ll feel as new parents in those first few days when you’re finally holding your baby in your arms.
I aim to capture the moments that pass all too quickly – you marvelling at how perfectly they fit in your arms, snuggling and soaking in that new baby smell, you in awe of their tiny yet perfect fingers and toes, giggling at those irresistible full-body sneezes. The photographs created at your newborn photoshoot will transport you back to these tender moments and remind you of the love and joy you felt when you first met your little one.
My signature newborn photography style is minimal, natural and connection-focused, keeping the spotlight entirely on your new baby and growing family. During your session in my Thornbury newborn studio, I’ll capture individual portraits of your new baby, intimate moments with each parent, heartwarming interactions with older siblings, and timeless family group shots.
Becoming a big brother or sister is an important milestone that deserves celebrating, so I warmly welcome older siblings to be part of your newborn photoshoot. Because pets are family too, fur babies can definitely be part of the experience. While the idea of photos with babies and dogs can feel daunting, I’m well experienced at safely including them in your newborn photos.

Somewhere between the sleepy newborn days and their first birthday, your tiny newborn starts becoming their own little person.
Their gummy smiles get bigger, their giggles get louder, and their personality starts shining through. They discover their toes, master tummy time and rolling, learn to sit, and before you know it, they’re suddenly on the move. The funny little expressions, full-handed kisses and the way they light up when they see you are the details you’ll want to remember long after this stage has passed.
My baby photoshoots are designed for babies aged 3 to 12 months, whether you’re celebrating a milestone or simply want beautiful photographs at any stage throughout their first year. Baby sessions are really relaxed and led by your baby – we play, sing, and make sure there’s plenty of time for cuddles with Mum and Dad. There is no expectation your little one will sit and smile at the camera as soon as I pick it up.
Baby photography sessions take place in my photography studio in Thornbury, in Melbourne’s inner north, with simple styling that keeps the focus exactly where it belongs, on your baby and you – the people they love most.
