My newborn photoshoots focus on capturing the overwhelming love and emotion you’ll feel as new parents in those first few days when you’re finally holding your baby in your arms.
I aim to capture the moments that pass all too quickly – you marvelling at how perfectly they fit in your arms, snuggling and soaking in that new baby smell, you in awe of their tiny yet perfect fingers and toes, giggling at those irresistible full-body sneezes. The photographs created at your newborn photoshoot will transport you back to these tender moments and remind you of the love and joy you felt when you first met your little one.
My signature newborn photography style is minimal, natural and connection-focused, keeping the spotlight entirely on your new baby and growing family. During your session in my Thornbury newborn studio, I’ll capture individual portraits of your new baby, intimate moments with each parent, heartwarming interactions with older siblings, and timeless family group shots.
Becoming a big brother or sister is an important milestone that deserves celebrating, so I warmly welcome older siblings to be part of your newborn photoshoot. Because pets are family too, fur babies can definitely be part of the experience. While the idea of photos with babies and dogs can feel daunting, I’m well experienced at safely including them in your newborn photos.

6 -10 MONTH OLDS
That magic window when bub has mastered sitting unaided but isn’t quite crawling away yet!
This is one of the most fun stages of your baby’s first year.
Bubs at this age are super expressive, inquisitive, giggly, full of smiles, and there’s more often than not, there are adorable baby rolls galore.
Because every baby develops at their own pace, these milestone sessions typically take place between 6 and 10 months.
TURNING ONE SESSIONS
10 -12 MONTH OLDS
Capture the sweet bridge between babyhood and toddlerhood.
Scheduled in the lead-up to your baby’s first birthday, these sessions capture your little one just before they become a busy toddler.
They’re a wonderful opportunity to create updated family photos to give as heartwarming gifts to proud grandparents.
Turning one sessions can also be combined with a cake smash.
CAKE SMASH + SPLASH SHOOT
10 – 12 MONTH OLDS
The ultimate 1st birthday celebration!
Cake Smash + Splash photoshoots are a fun and messy way to celebrate your baby turning one.
Booked in the weeks leading up to their birthday, these portraits are ideal for creating custom first-birthday invitations, party decor, or thank-you cards.
My baby sessions are designed for babies 3 to 12 months old and are perfect for celebrating their first-year milestones.
Each baby session is guided entirely by your little one. I like to allow plenty of time for play, stories and cuddles with Mum and Dad throughout the shoot. This relaxed approach helps your baby feel comfortable, allowing me to capture real expressions, natural smiles and their little personality.
